Bestie goes to Britain

Karen Walker: If that dress were any shorter,
I could see your English muffin.

Hand painted each Jewlery Stand

My newest crafts have been inspired by some really important people in my life. Firstly, best of luck to my best betch who is leaving for London THIS WEEEK!!! for the semester. Now I've been able to paint and combine my experience for loving London, leopard, Robbie, and jewelry into one. Oddly enough, there was a Newsday article on DIY on my kitchen table, so I managed to sneak it into the pic as well.

Hello Kitty is for my birthday babe Cari and the pup necklace stand is for my mom! I painted a Shit Tzu because my family lost ours 5 years ago. She was the most perfect baby and we still miss her every day.

Tulip Fest

Will Truman:       He's using my new Chantal sauté pan with a
metal-edged spatula. There is no way a crêpe is
ever going to slide off that again.
Grace:                  Wow, you are more gay before 9 a.m. than most
                             people are all day.

So I'd be lying if I didn't say that more than half of my creative inspiration didn't come from Nastygal. I absolutely love Sophia Amoruso's soft and edgy taste. This floral head piece inspired me to DIY my own. I wore it for one of the most perfect occasions, Tulip Fest.

From Nastygal

Made from Joanns Fabric flowers, black tulle, and my college roommates brown leather twine (from when he had a passion for making jewelry for 5 1/2 minutes).

Typical and perfect. dinner was good too!

Bye Bedroom

Jack McFarland:       You're so generous. I swear, if you weren't
Jewish, you'd definitely go to heaven.
Grace Adler:             Thanks Jack. And if you weren't gay, you'd go
                                  there too.

DIY map of Milan, Italy hung over my bed. Love this because almost every important placed I visited throughout my semester abroad is marked (with an address!) The actual map is from the metro station the first day I arrived in Milan.

Rhinestone Shoes

Jack McFarland:       Oh, don't forget. I have to make time to write
my speech I was voted most popular, so I get
                                  to speak at the ceremony.
Will Truman:            That's some school you're graduating from.
Take credits from a Cancun vacation, most
popular gives the speech. Stay one more
week, maybe you'll get your pilot's license.

So, College Graduation is coming up!!!! I decided to wear my DIY rhinestone shoes to make my Grecian style green dress a little less casual.

Saw these on Solestruck and became obsessed!!!

Went ahead and decided to DIY a pair of my own. Bought a bag of rhinestones from Michaels Crafts and some Glitter to Glue Adhesive Spray. Took this from my instagram, so its a bit tinted.

Quickly scribbled this decoration before our our families came to our place. Used 3D chalk which isn't only a toy for kidz.

Wish the quality of this pic was better of me and my sister, but the message is clear, I AM A GRADUATE!

Becca Birthday

Kevin Bacon:        Man if I had a dollar for every jock strap my
                              stalker  stole from me...
Jack McFarland:   You'd have $187!...

Sent this DIY tank to my abroad bestie Becca. Sweets and stache inspired by our French conasse Margaux, with whom I'd never met, I'd never be a Polisson. <3

If we'd have known this pic in Trapani, Sicily was going to be so perfect, I think it would have been a priority to moisturize. Thats me on the left, and Margaux (YES! thats a cupcake with a mustache) on the right.

Like I always say, If you don't have a dessert with a mustache tattooed on your thigh, wear it across your chest.

So clutch

Karen Walker:       You wouldn't happen to have a breath mint,
                               would you?
Lady:                      Why, yes, I do. It's in my purse.
Karen Walker:       Well, pop it! Its not doin you any good in there!

I get so many compliments on this clutch. Used yesterdays copy of the NYTs and modge podged it directly on an inexpensive clutch I picked up at Marshalls. These two nail colors have been my summer favs, both from Sephora.

Nailed

Jack McFarland:       Prove it! Say something lesbionic
Bonnie:                     Home Depot
Jack McFarlandL      K.d. Lang, you are a lesbian!

Nothing in this world beats hangoverSunday watching WAG on the couch, eating Chipotle with some important boyz in my life. Topping this weekend though, was having worn out my DIY Home Depot $1.07 gold nailed shoes out the night before. Simply hammered an individual nail one at a time into the back part of the wedge.

These shoes were basic and so blah before they reached their nailed potential. Super happy they turned out intense and slightly dangerous.
